The Team:

The Corporate team unites a variety of functions at Morningstar including design, marketing, finance, quality, human resources, corporate communications, legal, compliance, strategic planning, and technology with the goal of keeping our business running smoothly.

Each of these functions plays an essential role in supporting our company's infrastructure, day-to-day operations, and ongoing strategic initiatives.

For the role of this HR, we need a bright, energetic, and driven individual who, may or may not have prior HR experience, and has a desire to learn the HR domain while providing timely project and process support to employees, managers, and other HR professionals.

The goal is to provide a great service experience to employees and managers needing assistance from HR; and to make other HR professionals on the team more productive by supporting their projects and day-to-day process tasks.

This position is based in our Singapore office and report to the regional HR Business Partner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR operational supports to APAC employees, such as onboarding, offboarding, leave management, payroll process etc.
  • Provide consistent support and feedback to the employees' frequent ask HR questions for Morningstar APAC offices. Escalate more complex situations to HR domains and regional Business Partner as appropriate.
  • Continue Improve cross locations and cross domains HR processes, such as Yearend Compensation process, Talent Review process, RSU process.
  • Identify, implement, and continually improve the internal customer service processes, procedures, and infrastructure necessary to enable a global HR "help desk" capability and deliver a firstclass customer experience. Such as payroll, leave management process, etc.
  • Continue Review and update Morningstar Asia knowledge base.
  • Cowork with global shared services team for operations excellence.
  • Manage the employee information in HR system, make sure the data is updated and accurate.
  • Assist Company activities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • 3 years of professional experience and a proven track record in HR functions
  • Experience in HR operations, or Global Shared Services in MNC
  • Strong experience in process excellence and proficient experience in process enhancement
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, behave professionally, and proactively take responsibility.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or on an independent basis.
  • Demonstration of a high level of discretion and candor relating to sensitive or confidential information.
