Position Purpose:

  • To assist the Assistant / Reservations Manager on daily basis and to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations, and sales support service to achieve maximum room revenue to meet or exceed the revenue target.

Essential Functions:

  • To maintain high level of communication (skills verbal and written) while promoting the Hotel and Residences through good selling and communication skills.
  • Ensure that all reservations are keyed into PMS accurately.
  • Understand reservations and call handling process telephone etiquette, reservations sequence, and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Follow up payment from clients.
  • Perform arrival check for certain channels.
  • Reviews noshow and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to company's policy.
  • Knowledge of all rates, packages and promotions, policies, and procedures.
  • Undertake any other workrelated tasks which may reasonably be required from time to time as requested.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

  • To maintain the reservation record in an up to date and accurate manner.
  • To work closely with Front Desk to maximize Guest Satisfaction.
  • To work closely with Finance Department for payment and refund process.

  • Able to speak, write and converse freely in English
  • Additional language is preferred
  • Able maintain a smile and positive attitude
  • Must be proactive
  • A positive, confident, and determined approach.
  • Resilience and a high degree of selfmotivation and ambition.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment.

REQUIREMENT:
