Assess the current operational set up for the region with a focus on identifying inefficiencies, areas of improvement of utilisation rates of systems and solutions available and coordination level between Local and Central operations teams.


  • Define actions and potential remediations to improve collaboration between Local and Central Operations.
  • Promote best in class use of systems for Real Estate / Private Equity / Private Debt with a focus on continuous improvement, delivering operational efficiencies and process improvements
  • Identify business process efficiencies with a relentless focus on continuous improvement, including opportunities to transition Local Operations to Central Operations
  • Review functions and activities currently undertaken within the Local and Central Operations locations with a view to identifying unnecessary or manual processes and identifying opportunities to avail of appropriate technologies in support
  • Define best practice ways of working within the Local and Central Operations collaborating with local teams to ensure compliance with local policies and procedures & with any internal and external audit requirements.
  • Define and obtain appropriate information to make wellinformed and substantiated recommendations.
  • Identify and communicate deviations, risks and issues related to the operations adherence to technology or best practice adoption, ensuring mitigating actions are defined and managed;
  • Reviewing and monitoring KPIs, delivering insight and analysis on the profitability or efficiency of the Local and Central Operations based on the activities undertaken
  • Be responsible for driving change when necessary, delivering communications and directions to the teams at all levels/business lines.
  • Project Manage the collation of any business requirements for technology projects for Local and Central Operations
  • Promote Alter Domus best practice and collaboration between the receiving offices and donor offices
  • Design and monitor the implementation of transition plans of client service work from Alter Domus' network of Local Operations to the Central Operations locations and operating plans;
  • Be at ease with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; hold regular meetings with BU leaders/TLs/Technology leads to ensure open communication and coordinate resourcing needs;
  • Oversee the organisation and followup training programs for teams in collaboration with The Academy and manage the local Champions programme;
  • Anticipate resource needs in collaboration with the Head of Operations, the BU and the CE leaders and if required participate in the recruitment process;
  • Participate in oversight meetings to ensure proper collaboration/information exchange;
  • Drive a culture of compliance and risk control to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks. Together with the Operations leads for the region, you will monitor the operating and financial results of the centre against plans and budgets and oversee operational planning and financial controls.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion. You will be accountable for ensuring that all teams in the location maintain the highest social and environmental responsibility and standards.
