How you'll make an impact
This is a key role in our sales team at Xero.

You will be the first point of contact for accounting firms signing up to become part of the Xero Partner Program.

You'll be a passionate advocate for Xero, inspiring others, cultivating relationships, and driving engagement with our brand. If you're someone who thrives on spreading excitement and influencing others, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Qualifying leads that come into Xero.
  • Managing the prompt set up and support for accounting firms who want to become partners through our internal systems before handing over to the appropriate Account Manager once the partner has completed the prerequisites.
  • Introducing new partners to Xero through the management of Asiawide webinars.
  • Driving attendance for Xero Sales led events and Partner Forums and ensure rapid follow up
day-to-day issues, responding in a timely manner.

  • Develop best practices processes to support repeatable activities.

Success looks like
Successfully recruiting and qualifying new partners to the Xero Partner Program and ensuring a high level of onboarding support.

Supporting Xero sales staff by ensuring that data quality is obtained so that sales opportunities can be quickly identified and customer satisfaction is increased.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Self motivation, energy, and determination to succeed
  • Passion for cloud technology and helping small businesses grow
  • Capability to instill excitement and enthusiasm in others, encouraging them to embrace our brand and become advocates themselves
  • Able to speak an Asian language to communicate with overseas clients is a plus but not essential

Experience

  • At least 23 years work experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience managing customers and a pipeline of leads
  • A accounting qualification is a plus
  • Experience/Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice is desirable
  • Experience with Salesforce is desirable
  • Experience using Xero is a plus
