Senior Business Development Manager - Display Advertising (Singapore)


Expedia Group Media Solutions is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to achieve growth and sales targets You will lead a designated territory within Greater China and South East Asia Region.

Our team of digital marketing experts equips advertising partners with everything they need to connect, engage, and convert travelers worldwide.

What you'll do:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets
  • Growing Media Solutions sales footprint within region through new client acquisition and retention/growth of existing accounts, leading deal negotiations with key clients. Delivering against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals within assigned territory
  • Guiding sellers to develop robust territory plans and strategies & manage complexity and working through ambiguity
  • Developing relationships with important clients and prospects within their region
  • Work with cross functional leadership to find opportunities, advise decision making and solidify the MESO value proposition inregion and companywide
  • Work with executivelevel media industry leaders to establish Media Solutions as a leader and innovator in digital media
  • Attend and participate in key industry events, conferences, speaking opportunities, etc with the ability to represent all of Media Solutions
  • Evangelize MESO internally and work with internal teams to increase value of partner relationships
  • Regularly give valuable input and feedback to teammates including insight and findings from weekly sales results

Who you are:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred to communicate with stakeholders in Greater China region
  • You have validated and confirmed experience in digital media within the travel industry
  • You have demonstrated experience mentoring sales teams in online advertising
  • Validated experience of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Strong sales prospecting, negotiating and closing abilities
  • Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written and oral presentation influencing and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Strong propensity to take initiative and thrive with change
  • Experience delivering high quality results, whilst growing in a fastpaced environment
  • International travel required
