Solution Sales Manager

The Solution Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering relationships within the security surveillance industry. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to engage with channel partners and high-level executives (Cxx level) to promote cutting-edge CCTV AI surveillance solutions.
The role involves developing sales strategies, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of security system projects. He or she will collaborates closely with internal teams, including project management, sales engineers, and technical support, to deliver seamless project implementation from end to end. Additionally, they are responsible for market research, bidding for projects, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product range, covering AI-powered surveillance, access control, intelligent traffic management, and security communication systems. This position is ideal for professionals with 5 years strong sales acumen, technical expertise, and a passion for AI-driven security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships by working closely with system integrators and independent service providers in physical security surveillance space.
- Selling security surveillance and communication systems projects, while also upselling other product range and new developments to existing customers.
- Ensuring the profitability of project orders by collaborating closely with the Project Manager on pricing.
- Developing action plans and schedules to identify sales opportunities and meet targets and margins.
- Updating the CRM system and periodically following up with prospects.
- Reviewing partner specifications and customer requirements, ensuring clear understanding and compliance by the channel partner team and whether they have the capability to fulfill.
- Leading the design of various systems to ensure compliance at optimized cost.
- Gathering market feedback and information.
- Collating quotations from suppliers.
- Studying and analyzing product ranges for suitability in intended projects.
- Preparing reports on sales activities and project closures, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Taking ownership of allocated prospects and working closely with the projects and service teams for seamless project delivery.
- Regularly meeting system integrator partners to pitch to end users in private and public sectors, as well as participating in bids and project tenders.
- Reporting to the project sales director on prospects, following up, and coordinating special marketing efforts when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, or computer science (or related field).
- 5 years of experience in the security surveillance industry.
- Candidates with experience in system integration or artificial intelligence solution providers, with exposure to video analytics or facial recognition software, may also apply.
- Participation in marketing events, such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Excellent communication skills.
