We are now seeking a bright and ambitious individual to support our local Rewards Career Products team â compensation, benefits, mobility surveys as well as rewards consulting. In order to support our team and strengthen the growth of our APAC business, we are looking for a Compensation/Rewards Consulting Intern.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and adaptable intern to join our Rewards/Compensation and Benefits Career Products Practice in Singapore.

  • You will help to shape impactful outcomes for our clients and navigate rewards consulting projects as a team member across domains such as job evaluation, grade design, salary structure design, compensation/benefits benchmarking, custom wage studies by working closely with project managers in the team.

  • Learn and grow across all areas in how you can become a holistic HR Consultant.

We will count on you to:

  • Translate data into relevant findings to share insights/trends with stakeholders.

  • Work with colleagues to ensure market data are reasonable and client specifications are met, and complete revisions as necessary.

  • Create exhibits to compare market compensation data to client compensation data.

  • Understand talent management trends, pay practices and policies for a particular client and within the broader marketplace.

  • Research public filings to gather financial data, develop peer groups to analyses client data and uses Mercer's in house technology to run reports and extract market data to use in production of analysis.

  • Assist the team in translating key insights into impactful presentation decks for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Provide point of views in team discussions and challenge other views in a constructive manner.

What makes you stand out:

  • Current university student and ideally able to commit full-time for a minimum of 3 to 6 months.

  • Keen interest to find out more about HR, particularly in the field of compensation.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Experience with Python and R will be an added advantage.

  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ready to actively contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.

  • Ability to work in a large team and with different stakeholders across the region.
