About the Role
The Reward team (which is just under 40 people in 5 locations) seeks to provide best-in-class Reward solutions for Swiss Re. It is a Centre of Excellence with a real passion for quality, supporting the delivery of an integrated service for HR and the Business on all matters of Reward.
As Reward Consultant for APAC, you will be responsible for delivering the Reward strategy, governance and compliance in the APAC region. You will work in close collaboration with the country HR teams (major locations are India, Hong Kong and Singapore). You will be advising HR and the Business on all Reward topics (including compensation and local benefit topics).
Main tasks and activities include:
- execute on salary increase forecasting, benchmarking and compensation ranges
- ensure compliance with APAC and country specific remuneration regulations and guidance
- consult on compensation package & buy-outs
- understand country or business specific compensation challenges and provide solutions in the context of group standards and policy
- support Reward projects and represent the needs of the APAC countries in the development of Reward products and services
- drive the approach to pay equity in the APAC countries, including supporting HR with regulatory compliance
- advise on local benefit topics and support execution of group benefit strategy and initiatives
About the Team
The Reward APAC team is part of a team that also includes the Reinsurance Business Unit Reward team. There is a close collaboration within this team and with the other Reward teams supporting EMEA/Group Functions and Americas/Corporate Solutions locations and functions.
About You
- Bachelor's, master's degree or MBA
- 6+ years of work experience in compensation and benefitsideally in an international business environment
- Ideally had exposure to remuneration regulations and reporting requirements
- Savvy with MS Office and similar tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
