The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is seeking a Partnership Officer for Institutional Engagement and Regional Cooperation to support its mission of Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond. As a multilateral development bank capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by major international credit rating agencies, AIIB collaborates with partners to invest in green, technology-enabled infrastructure that promotes regional connectivity.Reporting to the Operational Partnership Department (OPD) under the Vice President, Policy and Strategy, the Partnership Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating operational partnerships with multilateral organizations, administering Special Funds resources, and engaging with regional coordination mechanisms to mobilize additional resources for AIIB's investment operations. The Institutional Engagement and Cooperation Team (IEC) under OPD focuses on coordinating global and regional engagement, relationship management with partners, and providing upstream support.Key Responsibilities:- Support AIIB's engagement in global and regional policy fora and multilateral affairs by fostering partnerships with MDBs, G20, UN, and other key stakeholders.- Prepare and coordinate AIIB's participation in high-level conferences and platforms such as G20, COP, UN development conferences, ASEAN Summit, and MDBs" annual meetings.- Contribute to MDB collaboration workstreams and multilateral technical-level working groups.- Conduct strategic analysis to shape AIIB's global stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.- Provide analytical support on regional and global policy developments to inform AIIB's policy approach and decision-making.- Support event coordination, including organizing/participating in meetings, workshops, and conferences.Requirements:- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in multilateral affairs, external relations, or partnership building in international development finance.- Master's degree or higher in finance, business, economics, international relations, public policy, or related fields.- Experience advising senior executives in multilateral affairs, G20, MDB collaboration, and global policy issues.- Ability to apply policy, financing, and technical knowledge to complete complex assignments.- Superior client orientation and effective interpersonal, communication, and diplomatic skills.- Proficiency in professional writing and speaking in English; knowledge of French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus.- Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment and as a strong team player.Join AIIB to contribute to a prosperous and sustainable Asia while growing your career in an innovative environment.,
