About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to recruit a strategic and operational leader to oversee Payments & Cash Operations across the APAC region. This role, reporting directly to the Head of APAC Banking Operations, will manage a team of professionals and be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive a regional operating model to boost resilience and operational efficiency, leveraging global Centers of Expertise.
  • Elevate straight-through processing (STP) rates and embed harmonized operational procedures and permanent controls across the region.
  • Validate initiatives from the Process & Change team and collaborate with IT to support system deployments impacting cash management.
  • Lead the regional Cash Middle Office (Singapore and Hong Kong) and ensure speedy, compliant resolution in partnership with compliance and business teams.
  • Strengthen the institution’s control framework, including risk mitigation, operational failure analysis, and adherence to AML/Financial Sanctions protocols.
  • Foster talent development, succession planning, and ensure budget alignment with cost optimization strategies.

  • Proven leadership in payments and cash operations management across APAC
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on risk, control, and operational excellence
  • Ability to manage change, inspire teams, and drive alignment with strategy and governance frameworks
