Principal Consultant, APAC | Recruiting for Sales, Marketing & Senior ManagementOur client is an established company specializing in hazardous area services, training, and products. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales plan for the designated region, including setting sales targets and identifying key accounts and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the marine and offshore industry.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends to management.
- Attend and participate in industry events and trade shows.
Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the marine and offshore industry.
- Good network and contacts with relevant customers (EPCs/FPSOs/Oil Majors/Ship Owners/Shipyards, etc.).
- Sales experience in training and/or certification for the oil and gas industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong understanding of marine and offshore industry products and trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
