About the job
As a member of the Education Division, this person will direct activities of the Education sales team to produce a healthy pipeline, drive sales, build brand recognition for training products and services, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities include:
Achievement of the Education revenue target Assigns appropriate sales goals and assignments to sales staff; determines optimal utilization of staff and resources to achieve sales goals Manages pipeline and monitors progress towards sales goals Provides timely and accurate forecasting Drives development and implementation of account plans by sales staff Maintains professional knowledge of SAS products and solutions and Education offerings Attends customer meetings with sales representative on a regular basis to ensure highest quality delivery of sales and service Responsible for management of the sales team including hiring, performance management, coaching, professional skills development, career progression, and retaining talent Identifies revenue growth opportunities and implements sales strategies to support them Recommends sales pricing and promotions Oversees leads management and conversion reporting Delivers sales performance reporting to business operations for validation and to finance for processing Provides sales support for sales representatives while serving as escalation point of contact for customers Formulates all sales policies, practices, and procedures Partners closely with the other SAS departments.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Experience in Education Sales Management, preferably in the technology industry Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target Excellent written and verbal communication skills Public speaking experience to all levels of corporate executive leadership Ability to communicate visually, verbally and in a written capacity for internal corporate stakeholders and external customers Ability to travel You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
