Job summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our APAC team in Singapore. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our channel partners with technical expertise and product knowledge. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and close business opportunities, while providing excellent customer service to our partners.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Work with channel partners to understand their customers' technical requirements and recommend appropriate endpoint security solutions. Provide technical support during the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and responding to technical inquiries. Collaborate with our sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth. Conduct technical training sessions for channel partners to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively sell and support our products. Work closely with our product development team to provide feedback on product features and functionality based on customer needs and market trends. Provide technical support during the post-sales process, including assisting with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Develop strong relationships with channel partners to ensure they have a positive experience working with us and are motivated to sell our products.
 

Required domain knowledge

Basic understanding of cybersecurity and endpoint security solutions Familiarity with sales and marketing principles and techniques Basic technical knowledge of operating systems and networking Understanding of the company's products and value proposition Basic knowledge of channel-based business models
 

What will help you stand out from the rest

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical support role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry Strong technical knowledge of endpoint security products and related technologies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others Willingness to travel to meet with channel partners and attend trade shows and other industry events
