The position is based in APAC in a major country where Axis does have an office. Business travel within the region, APAC head regions, and HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job. You will report to the Business Development Director, APAC.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for driving significant growth for APAC via Video Management Systems and Recorder sales. You are responsible for defining the sales strategy and growth initiatives in APAC together with the team in each region. You are a thought leader and are influencing Axis’ audiences with relevant posts or speeches, promoting Axis End-to-End solutions. You are also developing relationships with influencers such as consultants, builders, or engineering companies. Working closely with the marketing team for sales enablement, lead generation, and training campaigns. You are helping regions to expand channel partners' reach and footprint through our specialization program, among other initiatives. You are always in regular contact with our HQ in Sweden and your counterparts in Europe and the Americas to deploy End-to-End strategies in APAC and to identify best practices worldwide.

Education and Experience

You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing software business. You have a solid technical background in software, ideally in Video Management Systems or Control Room software, or Command and Control supervision software. You are a team player and have a growth mindset and a long-term vision. It will be a bonus if you can speak fluently other Asian languages.
