Position Overview
The candidate is responsible for overseeing the planning, strategy and policy formulation of digital services initiatives for the consumer segment. The candidate will need to work closely with diverse external stakeholders such as MOH and other Government agencies, information technology companies, healthcare clusters etc, as well as cross-functional internal development and delivery teams to contribute to the planning and development of digital services to bring greater convenience and better health outcomes to the public.
Specifically, the candidate will be involved in a wide variety of projects such as the conceptualisation of a future digital services landscape, the planning and management of healthcare consumer products in the digital space, and the development of new innovative solutions in Singapore’s healthcare delivery. The candidate may also be asked to develop the business case for healthcare IT projects, funding request, governance and process, performance outcomes, and post implementation reviews on digital projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning: Align with and exert influence on national healthcare strategies, formulate well thought-out digital services initiatives and product planning & policy in accordance with strategic directions. Stakeholder Engagement: Ongoing engagement with government/government agency stakeholders, clusters headquarters and digital reps on national initiatives that intersect with digital services. Governance and Process: Formulate and implement governance processes and frameworks for expenditure of government monies e.g, cost and VFM assessments. Digital technology development: Understand and apply new technologies and innovation areas in driving digital initiatives and enhancements to improve website and mobile app user experience and usage, seek out new business use-case and collaboration opportunities to bring greater value and convenience for the consumer. Data governance: Work with internal teams and Legal department to manage data policy and ensure compliance.Requirements
Ability to think strategically; understand and interpret policies to translate business use-case to IT enabled solutions and products. Keen learner with a positive attitude in understanding and navigating the complexities in HealthTech, resilient to work under pressure, resourceful Good communication skills and ability to establish and cultivate relationships with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders. Experience in product management/strategy of digital services is preferred; experience in healthcare industry is an advantage. Well-developed communication and negotiation skills, as well as professional writing and presentation skills. Good analytical and business planning/development skills Motivated individual and good team player.
