**OVERVIEW**:

Cap Vista, the venture investment arm of MINDEF, is at the forefront of leveraging dual-use technologies to enhance Singapore’s Defence Tech Community. We collaborate with reputable venture capitalists, innovation hubs, government agencies, and other key ecosystem players to create value for our portfolio companies and drive technological advancements. Our focus areas include cybersecurity, AI, autonomy and robotics, sensors, network and communications, among others.

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept leader to join Cap Vista Pte Ltd as the Senior Head/Head of Strategic Partnership.

In this pivotal role, you will drive the engagement and adoption of dual-use technologies within our Defence partners. By conducting thorough research and analysis, and leveraging your network within the start-up ecosystem, you will identify promising dual-use start-ups that align with Defence needs. Your deep understanding of Defence problem statements and interests will enable you to forge collaborations between Defence partners and start-ups or ecosystem players.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- ** Educational Background**: Engineering/IT/Science degree is preferred.
- ** Self-Starter**: You are proactive, analytical, and confident in expressing your viewpoints.
- ** High Work Ethic**: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently with mínimal supervision.
- ** Excellent Communication**: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives across the ecosystem, from start-ups to investors and industry leaders.
- ** Passion for Start-Ups**: A keen interest in the start-up ecosystem and working with early-stage companies is essential. You should be eager to build your knowledge in venture capital and expand your network within the start-up community.
- ** Technology Enthusiast**: You have a passion for technology and innovation, and a willingness to learn and acquire a diverse range of knowledge and skills beyond your established expertise.
