The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating sales and growth initiatives within a territory / region of ABS Quality Evaluations Inc. This is a natural growth position for anybody seeking more senior roles in the Company.

Job Duties/Roles

1. Main objective is to sell ABS QE services using the strength of local affiliates business structure.
2. Define and maintain target lists of prospect clients for accounts to be targeted in region. Client prospecting in target region.
3. Develop a sales strategy for region to achieve defined sales targets.
4. Provides sales forecast data as well as other market and customer information for use in sales planning.
5. Stays within expense budgets and observe Company sales policies.
6. Produce local proposals for clients / prospects in accordance with ABS QE procedures and pricing guidelines.
7. Actively follow up on all proposals and conduct client presentations where required.
8. Provides support to operations as necessary to ensure customers are receiving appropriate service.
9. Assists in collections as necessary.
10. Communicates regularly, with Director of Business Development or Country Manager regarding opportunities, challenges and any other business matters.
11. Participates in special projects and teams as necessary to support the overall development of the business.
12. Meets or exceeds delegated sales targets.

**Job Requirement**
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)

1. Self-motivated professional with track record of sales leadership.
2. High energy professional with commitment to succeed in sales and business development.
3. Facile with computers, both in preparing presentations and communications, and in working within ABS QE’s operating platforms.
4. Familiarity with management systems is helpful. Otherwise, the ability to learn new areas quickly will be critical.
5. Sensitive to multi-cultural environments.
6. Excellent communicator both with customers and the sales team.
7. Focus on the end result; strong desire to achieve objectives despite challenges.
8. Ability to obtain working knowledge of the ABS Quality Evaluations Quality & Environmental Management System.

Minimum years of Experience

5 or more years of experience in the industry is preferred.

Required/Preferred Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent business/quality related experience.
