You will gain valuable Chinese and ASEAN market exposure and engage with C-suite level executives with real value propositions.
As part of CSSD Singapore, you will be a part of the flagship bilateral Government-to-Government project Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). Your main responsibilities will include sourcing and facilitating investment leads into SIP and all CSSD affiliated township projects, both in and out of China. Another significant responsibility will be facilitating Chinese companies to invest in Singapore and land in the “CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre”, located in one-north.
**About China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co., Ltd. (CSSD)**
CSSD (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 601512) is the joint-venture master developer set up by the governments of Singapore and China in August 1994 for the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). As the main urban developer and the platform for Sino-Singapore cooperation, CSSD has made great contributions to the development of SIP and functions as a trailblazer for facilitating mutually beneficial international economic cooperation. In 2019, CSSD was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Till date, CSSD has replicated and exported the successful experience of SIP to multiple locations in China (Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and Ningxia).
In Singapore, as part of a strategic partnership with Singapore’s JTC Corporation, CSSD established a new wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore (“CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre Pte. Ltd”) which operates a co-working space cum incubator in the one-north district on behalf of the SIP Government known as the IBCC. IBCC primarily focuses on creating an ecosystem for both inbound Chinese investments into Singapore and Singapore-based companies planning to venture into the greater China market.

**Available Positions**
- **Executive (Investment promotion and business development)** - minimum requirement of 2 years of working experience.
- **Senior Executive (Investment promotion and business development)** - minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant working experience to be considered.
You will be part of the CSSD Singapore team, which is responsible for:
- Investment promotion into Suzhou Industrial Park and all CSSD affiliated township projects (both in and out of China).
- Be part of achieving all KPIs for the “CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre”.
- Identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities/ partnerships that are aligned with CSSD’s interest.
You will report to the General Manager of CSSD Singapore.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Independently research, identify and engage prospective companies to build a strong pipeline for all existing township projects within CSSD’s portfolio.
2. Learn, understand, and communicate specific policies and grant-call details.
3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective investors.
4. Assist new and existing clients and their key stakeholders in resolving various issues throughout their decision-making process.
5. Participate in the operations and development of the “CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre”. (There will be a high level of interaction with China-origin business owners, China business ecosystem stakeholders and relevant China government officials).
6. Build partnerships and expand the CSSD ecosystem to generate meaningful collaborations and positive outcomes.
7. Organize and staff incoming and outgoing official delegation visits by government/ corporate visitors.
8. Occasional business travelling is expected.
9. Actively contribute to ad-hoc projects tasked to CSSD Singapore by higher management.
**Requirements / Key Attributes**:
1. Possess existing rights to work in Singapore.
2. Bachelor's Degree, with of 2 years working experience.
4. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
5. Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, good organizational skills.
6. Experience in engaging and managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
8. Fluency in mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential, due to the nature of work which involves a very extremely high amount of communication with various stakeholders based in China.
Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
