We are an international airfreight forwarder seeking talented individuals to join our team

Position : Ocean/Air Freight Officer/ assistant

Location : Changi Cargo Complex

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ocean/Air Freight Officer/Executive to join our dynamic team at Changi Cargo Complex. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of freight forwarding, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of import and export shipments. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and monitor daily operational tasks within the department.
- Respond to and track shipment inquiries.
- Resolve customer service issues and shipment irregularities.
- Coordinate operational matters with both import and export teams, ensuring accurate documentation and invoicing.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Arrange sea freight shipments and transportation.
- Book services with co-loaders for import, export, and trans-shipment.
- Prepare accurate billing documents.
- Handle import/export permit declarations and customs clearance procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate customer shipments.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to meet their needs.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE 'N' Level, NTC/ITE/NITEC or higher qualification.
- Experience in freight forwarding is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
