Singapore MORRISON EXPRESS LOGISTICS PTE LTD Full time

**Key Responsibilities:
**Operations**
- Coordinate & liaise with customers, overseas officers/agents, carriers, co-loaders and relevant parties
- Ensure receipt of official quotation from Sales/Overseas officers/agents
- Receive pre-alert from overseas offices/agents & check with carrier/co-loader for vessel's ETA or receive notice of Arrival from Carriers & open shipment file
- Arrange booking with carriers or co-loader upon receipt of instructions from customer
- Send job instructions to vendors for pick-up of empty containers/cargoes
- Arrange fumigation, insurance coverage or prepare invoice/packing list of necessary
- Prepare draft bill of lading, manifest, chamber certificate of origin
- Arrange payment to carrier/co-loader for release of delivery order
- Liaise with customer immediately in case of damages to cargoes & get their written instructions
- Ensure to meet company's KPI or milestones

**General Admin**
- Perform counter or front desk jobs for exchange shipping documents
- Ensure all purchase orders are raised & invoices sent to customer timely
- Troubleshoot when problem arise & liaise with relevant parties to ensure matter is resolved
- Check & verify all vendor invoices & submit weekly to Ocean Freight Manager for approval
- Assist in declaring of non-trade permits
- Other ad-hoc task when assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years in Ocean Freight Operations
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Full understanding of all freight and logistics product solutions
- Proficient in MS office with TradeNet experience
- Knowledge of Cargowise will be added advantage
- Team player
- Meticulous and accurate with a positive attitude and able to multi-task
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Customer focus
- Great sense of urgency
