**Nomura Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Senior member focusing on origination and execution of Equity Solutions transactions in the Asia ex-Japan region for key client types, such as private equity funds, corporates, and family offices, both using direct relationships and utilizing the broader network of origination/sales channels within Nomura
- Principally responsible for origination and structuring effort for the team in the India and South East Asia regions, with further execution support across other key regions within Asia ex
- Japan, including China/HK and Australia
- Role will cover Equity Derivatives and Equity Financing against investments in listed and/or unlisted companies whether on an individual basis or as a basket
- Responsibilities will include:

- Origination and ideation through regular dialogue with clients, Sales/bankers and review of market news
- Collaborate with and educate Sales teams and IBD bankers on Equity Solutions transactions
- Produce presentation materials for client pitches, internal meetings and for other internal / external marketing
- Lead internal and external discussions to support and engage in the analysis of transactions, by collaborating with various internal functions including Trading, Risk, Operations and Legal
- Ongoing monitoring of existing positions
- Ensure compliance with various internal and external policies
- Actively train junior bankers

**Requirements**:

- More than 10 years of experience in investment banking / global markets / wealth management divisions with a focus in Equity Solutions transactions.
- Strong relationships with private equity funds, corporates and family office clients in India and SEA with at least 15 margin loan transactions executed.
- Good understanding of regulatory framework and structural complexities in India and SEA with ability to think outside the box and structure within the regulatory frameworks in these markets with experience of executing non-standard transactions; good understanding of regulatory framework and structuring capability in Hong Kong and Australia to be able to help out on other situations as the team may demand.
- Ability to drive processes and transactions forward with strong process management skills
- Strategic thinker, business builder and open-minded team player with excellent communication skills
