The **Country Sales Manager** plays a pivotal role in overseeing and propelling sales endeavors within a designated country or region. Although specific duties can vary depending on factors such as industry, company size, and objectives, the following outlines responsibilities associated for this role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Formulate and execute a sales strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments, including OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Dealers, and End users.
- Devise pricing and service strategies as well as incentive strategies.
- Recruit, train, and oversee a high-performing sales team. Establish sales targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring their achievement.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities to pinpoint opportunities, threats and stay abreast of market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Work closely with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Develop and administer the sales budget for the country. Provide precise sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Develop and execute sales plans, overseeing the entire process from prospecting to deal closure for revenue target achievement.
- Stay updated on company products and industry trends, providing training, support, for the sales team and conducting on-site surveys users.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless business operations.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to enhance products/services, implementing improvements based on demand.
- Ensure the sales team complies with legal and ethical standards and stays updated on industry regulations.
- Establish and analyze performance metrics to assess and improve the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Communicate regularly with senior management, keeping them informed about sales performance, challenges, and opportunities, and representing company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

**Requirements**:

- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years experience in sales leadership roles, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to travel as necessary.

Supplemental pay types:
