**About the role**

We are seeking a** Manager, People Operations (Payroll)** who will partner closely with Senior Manager, People Operations in driving HR operational excellence for Doctor Anywhere in Singapore and the region.

You will have an eye for detail and unwavering commitment to improve and streamline processes with the aim of improving our employee experience. You will be part of our People & Culture Team, managing end to end payroll in the regional level, working closely with the people operations team and providing HR support for our managers and employees.

**A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows**
- Providing hands-on and operational support in regional payroll matters.
- Leading a payroll team in the regional level.
- Collecting and verifying employee timekeeping records, calculating wages, salaries, deductions, and adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Staying up to date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. This includes tax withholding, reporting, and filing requirements.
- Conducting regular audits and reconciliations of payroll records, tax filings, and other related documents to ensure accuracy.
- Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions, and providing excellent customer service.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.

**About you**
- At least 5 years of payroll experience, with experience in processing payroll in APAC countries & leading a team is strongly preferred.
- Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a start-up, hyper-growth environment with the capacity to effectively manage multiple payroll simultaneously.
- Proficient knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Unquestioned integrity and confidentiality.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
