**About the role**:
As our Osome People Operations Specialist, you'll strive to provide accurate and practical advice and assistance on all aspects of HR and employment law tailored to meet business needs. You will work collaboratively with the rest of the team to work towards our company vision and values. A key part of the role is being able to handle a fast-moving, constantly changing environment, you love collaboration and always have a positive outlook.
You will be an integral part of evolving and upholding our vision, values, and employee experience across the whole SG employee lifecycle. You'll be super organised with great people skills and passionate about delivering an O(awe)some employee experience.
**What you'll do**:
- Partnering with Managers to ensure onboarding of the Newsomers over their first 90 days lives up to Osome expectations, sets them up for success and for passing their probation
- Support employee performance management, tracking progression, training, and making sure every Osomer is fulfilled and able to do the best work of their careers
- Manage people admin duties such as contracts for new hires, letters, reference checks, etc
- Support the development of Osome’s policies and compliance, ensuring clarity and acceptance within the team as these develop
- Manage day-to-day general employee queries and issues including pay, performance, policies, and procedures
- Provide support to Managers on any employee-related issues. Leads basic performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance meetings offering pragmatic solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Own the maintenance of data & employee changes in HiBob and looks at ways to continuously improve processes
- Contribute to people projects and company initiatives such as running focus groups, mental health, Diversity & Inclusion, Benefits, preparing communications and data analysis, and engagement ideas
- Payroll and Leave Management
- Responsible for accuracy and on-time in-house payroll processing of the Singapore office in Talenox. This involves inputting and checking salary details before passing them on to Finance team for payment.
- Responsible for any regulatory report filings to local government authorities, and timely submission of IR8A and IR21 to IRAS.
**Who you are**:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar standalone People Specialist / HR Admin role
- Passionate about People and Talent
- Have excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders
- Appreciation and understanding of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with any people-related activities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Seeks new ways of improving people processes and outcomes. Always contributes to process improvements.
- Confident leading onboarding for new hires and ensuring the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
- Demonstrated success in embodying and promoting a company’s brand
- Comfortable using Google software and tools
- Experience in using HRIS / HRMS, HiBob, Talenox would be a huge plus
