Manager, Freight

You will be a key leader within our world-class Global Operations (Freight) team, playing a leading role in ensuring seamless global shipment operations to bring Secretlab's products to customers across over 60 countries worldwide. Partnering with the Head of Freight, you will be shaping and driving all freight strategy within Secretlab. This includes owning the global freight blueprint, operations P&L and leading the regional freight team in navigating through the ever-changing supply chain landscape.
Our Logistics team is essential for enhancing our customers’ experience and supporting key partnerships programs with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

**Responsibilities**
- Own the performance across all regions (APAC, EU, NA) and be principally responsible of the flow of freight operations and relevant dependencies
- Lead discussions with key stakeholders from each regions to formulate high-level tactics/strategies, ensuring alignment on the business goals both internally and externally
- Translate high-level regional freight strategy into solutions, constructively challenging the status quo and driving improvements to key performance indicators
- Collaborate with Freight Vendor Management team on freight product procurement and performance, ensuring that the regional freight teams have sufficient resources to deliver business' objectives Account for the P&L, resource utilisation and allocation across the freight team
- Foster strong relationship with freight partners, resolving any escalated logístical issues and optimising performance
- Adopt a proactive exception management approach, taking the lead within the regional freight team to manage escalated problems
- Partnering with each region’s manager to actively anticipate and tackle potential freight challenges
- Be the key advocate in driving best practices, change management initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as an advisor to the Freight team, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to key stakeholders to effectively meet team goals
- Provide inspired leadership within the freight team, including delegation of responsibilities, performance management, recruitment, succession planning and coaching

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant course of studies
- Minimum 5-6 years experience in a relevant field and 1-2 years experience leading global freight operations in the ecommerce space
- Extensive network of relationships within the shipping/ freight forwarding industry
- Ability to navigate the changing global supply chain environment and fast growing dynamics of the ecommerce industry
- Demonstrated leadership and an effective communicator who is able to manage stakeholders relationship and lead an operational team
- Seasoned problem solver who is able to think strategically with a tenacity to drive towards desired results amid a constantly evolving business environment.
