**Overview**
The Business Development Manager will create and execute DV Chain’s sales and marketing plans, including but not limited to implementing new sales ideas and tools for the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working closely with the Executive team to achieve sales targets and meet sales expectations.
- Develop business cases, proposals, or pitches for prospective / existing clients. Focusing resources on the most promising opportunities.
- Continue to add to existing pipelines by business vertical / build out new pipelines, while liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, conferences and exhibitions.
- Maintaining an organized CRM which entails updating documents and sales records on a regular basis.
- Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
- Conducting market research and gathering information about the market by speaking to clients and staff. Maintaining a tight pulse on the crypto market; need to be in-the-know with regards to changing trends, regulations etc.
- Identifying potential weaknesses in the sales process and offering improvement suggestions.
- Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations/well prepared write ups to C-Level team
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in tech, financial services, fintech, brokerages, and/or crypto exchanges.
- Familiarity with the digital asset ecosystem, including index and data providers, exchanges, custodians, miners, new outlets, and beyond is a strong asset.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Able to build trust quickly, ensuring satisfaction with every deal; high emotional intelligence.
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and persistence to drive towards outcomes while navigating a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
- Willingness to work on a smaller team, where you will engage in big-picture strategic thinking for new initiatives.
