  • Lead and manage a team of 11 staff.
  • Oversee a pool of 150 SMU Student Assistants to provide course support and administrative support to trainers and learners.
  • Partner our SMUA Pillars and Stackable Course Team to drive operational excellence, facilitate educational growth, and maintain a high standard of service excellence.
  • Drive the optimal performance and efficient running of daily operations in accordance with established SOPs and the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Oversee and optimize essential functions related to operations, planning, catering, logistics, procurement, and course support.
  • Conduct regular ground engagement with learners, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Review the learners' feedback and identify areas for improvement in food quality, logistics, or service level.
  • Support programmes held outside regular office hours; time-off will be granted in lieu.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with experience in managing a team.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhancing efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Training Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System (LMS), and Microsoft Power Automate will be advantageous.
