Team Lead, Finance (AP/AR Operations)

  • Basic salary: up to $6000
  • Location: Central
  • Good Bonuses + Other Good Benefits
  • Monday - Friday (8am to 5.30pm)

Job Scope

  • Act as functional the payment and receipt area, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and functional guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure daily workflows are executed in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Review and approve third-party transactions (receipts or payments).
  • Handle enquiries from internal stakeholders, trading representatives, and external counterparties.
  • Review exception and monitoring reports.
  • Prepare and review management and regulatory reports for senior management.
  • Support queries raised by Compliance, Auditors, and other control functions.
  • Draft, update, maintain, and conduct annual reviews of SOPs; oversee rollout and implementation.
  • Partner with other sections within Finance and other departments to resolve issues and strengthen end-to-end workflows.
  • Drive continuous process and system improvements, including automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk policies, and audit/regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to define business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with team members on issue resolution.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments or projects as may be directed.

Role Requirements:

  • with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must lead a team of 4 pax before.
