Your new company

SGX listed manufacturing organisation with plants in Asia, Europe and the US, is looking for a Regional HR Business partner to support their Mechatronics Division.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Human resource, you will be responsible for actively integrating the business strategy with people management practices, ensuring HR policies, processes, and initiatives are aligned and standardised across the region.

This position will oversee HR operations for China, Malaysia and Singapore, and will also lead the site HR managers. One of the key projects will be to drive the harmonisation of HR processes across sites, ensuring consistency in policies, talent management, compliance, and operations.

Key responsibilities include harmonising HR policies, processes, and practices, establishing HR governance and compliance frameworks, and driving HR digitalisation efforts, including the adoption and optimisation of Workday.

The successful candidate will also design and implement talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies, support succession planning and leadership development, and champion employee engagement and learning programs.

Additionally, they will ensure effective HR process management, provide guidance on employee relations and labour law requirements, and partner with senior business leaders to integrate HR strategies with business goals.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, with a proven track record as an HR Business Partner in a global/international company.
  • Experience managing multi-site HR operations across Asia, particularly in
    China.
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Strong change management experience, particularly in HR standardisation and transformation projects.
  • Workday (HRIS) experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in high-tech, precision manufacturing, or industrial automation industries is a plus.
