The HR Business Partner Lead plays a critical role in aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance, drive organizational effectiveness, and enhance the overall employee experience. The HRBP is both a strategic advisor and hands-on implementer, ensuring HR initiatives contribute to business growth and a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities, driving performance and growth.
- Leverage HR analytics and market insights to influence strategic decisions and workforce strategies.
Talent & Performance Management
- Shape and lead talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives to build organizational capability.
- Champion the performance management framework, ensuring it fosters accountability, fairness, and continuous development.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and implement engagement strategies that strengthen culture, collaboration, and organizational belonging.
- Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters, building trust and enabling positive workplace outcomes.
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and well-being.
Organizational Development & HR Transformation
- Partner with leaders on change management and transformation initiatives, embedding innovation and digital HR practices.
- Contribute to HR process improvements and the adoption of new tools and technologies.
- Drive initiatives that enhance organizational agility and workforce resilience.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee critical HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., work passes, insurance).
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, headcount planning, and staff cost forecasting.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships to ensure delivery of effective HR and workplace solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or advisory capacity.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational needs into HR strategies.
- Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR systems, and industry best practices.
