Job Scope and Role Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth through new customer acquisition, market penetration, and commercial management. This role requires strong business development capabilities, with the ability to engage global and regional customers, identify opportunities, and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver results in targeted markets such as Medical, Industrial, and Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Medical, Industrial, and Aerospace markets.
  • Drive lead generation, sales pipeline development, and customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies, business plans, and action plans.
  • Serve as the global contact for new customers, ensuring smooth onboarding and alignment across Cicor sites.
  • Represent Cicor at trade fairs, industry forums, and customer-facing events to increase visibility.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision makers at customer organizations.
  • Coordinate cross-site and cross-functional workstreams to ensure smooth commercial execution.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact in case of commercial issues.

Sales & Commercial Responsibility

  • Take overall commercial responsibility (revenue and profitability) for acquired customers.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting; compile and coordinate monthly reporting for Cicor Asia.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to customer acquisition and sales performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and threats that could impact results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within EMS, CDMO, Plastics, or PCBAs, focused on the Medical, Industrial, or Aerospace segments.
  • Experience working with global and regional clientele.
  • Strong expertise in lead generation, pipeline management, and winning new business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Dynamic, motivated, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
