
New Business Development Support

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for a New Business Development Support (Japanese Speaking).
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new suppliers for feed and fertilizer raw materials
- Negotiate and build relationships with local factories
- Act as a liaison and interpreter between local Singapore suppliers and related departments in Japan
- Expand sales channels for products such as matcha, sweet potatoes, ayu fish, dekopon, and melons from Japan
- Conduct initial business development activities locally and hand over prospects to relevant departments in Japan
- Assist with Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects related to indoor farming and agricultural technology
- Promote collaboration with local government agencies, venture companies, and VC firms
- Provide coordination and support for partnerships and joint initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience in business development, supplier sourcing, or sales support
- Sales experience with local restaurants or distributors in Singapore is highly preferred
- Strong interest or experience in AgriTech and innovative agricultural solutions
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese Speaking counterparts
