- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through multiple channels, including cold calls, emails, networking, industry exhibitions, and online platforms
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target segments
- Present and demonstrate company products to prospective clients, explaining their features, benefits, and applications
- Prepare and submit quotations, lead negotiations on pricing and terms, and close sales contracts
- Coordinate with logistics partners to track shipments, ensure timely delivery, and handle all related documentation
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely collection of receivables
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients by providing post-sales support and addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth execution of orders
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and business growth KPIs
Requirements
- Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in industrial materials or chemical products (experience with activated carbon is a plus)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with local clients and Chinese suppliers)
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel locally and occasionally overseas for client meetings or exhibitions
