About the role

As the Operations Manager at Mr Coconut, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hospitality business, contributing to the company's overall success and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations across multiple outlets, ensuring consistent standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant government regulations (SFA, NEA, etc.).

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine brand-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Streamline logistics, procurement, and inventory management systems to maximize efficiency.

  • Drive cost-control strategies across food cost, utilities, and operational wastage to protect margins.

  • Hold full P&L responsibility; set, monitor, and deliver on annual budgets, sales targets, and financial forecasts.

  • Define and set the annual P&L budget, sales targets, and operational KPIs for Area Manager.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of outlet performance against KPIs and budgeted goals, providing strategic guidance and implementing corrective plans.
  • Analyse market and competitor trends to inform strategic decisions on product mix and concept positioning.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar operations management role within the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  4. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use performance metrics to drive improvements
  5. Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service
  6. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and policies
  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
