Role Overview
As a Junior Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to Forkd by Brozky's standards. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about food, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation (cutting, marinating, basic cooking, plating).
Cook and serve dishes according to recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food to meet halal and food safety standards.
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Uphold Forkd by Brozky's brand standards for quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Singaporean
At least 6 months of F&B or kitchen experience (fresh graduates/trainees welcome).
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, frying, pasta preparation, etc.).
Familiarity with food hygiene and safety practices (Food Hygiene Certification preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the company.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
