Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalise on potential business opportunities in the contract logistics and freight forwarding space
  • Actively prospect and network to build a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to win new clients
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform our strategic sales initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
  • At least 2 - 5 years' experience in a business development or sales role within the contract logistics or freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a client portfolio
  • Strong business acumen and commercial negotiation skills
