Guest Service/Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Guest Service/Maintenance Officer to join our team in a dual-role capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guest service, complemented by basic technical or maintenance skills.

This position is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our serviced apartment by delivering an exceptional guest experience while being able to respond effectively to minor technical issues within guest units and public areas. A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence are key to success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Duties:

·       Welcome guests and assist with check-in/check-out processes.

·       Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

·       Provide information about apartment facilities and services.

·       Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest needs.

·       Assist with room inspections and ensure readiness for guest arrivals.

·       Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and personalized service.

Technical Support Duties:

·       Perform minor maintenance tasks such as:

Replacing light bulbs, batteries, or remote controls.

Troubleshooting and resolving basic air-conditioning, plumbing, or electrical issues.

Adjusting TV, Wi-Fi, and other in-room technology.

Coordinate with the Contractors for larger technical issues or repairs work to do.

Monitor and report maintenance concerns in both guest rooms and common areas.

Conduct routine checks in apartments and report damages or wear and tear.

Assist with room setup or small furniture adjustments when needed.


Qualifications:

·       Education: High school or ITE with Technical training is a plus.

·       Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in guest service/front desk or hospitality, with some experience or knowledge in basic maintenance or facility support.

Skills:

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Hands-on problem-solving ability.

·       Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or air-conditioning systems.

·       Ability to use hand tools and basic repair equipment.

·       Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
