Our client is a leading Dry Bulk Vessel Owner & Operator. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as " Assistant Manager/Manager (Chartering)(Dry Bulk)".

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring profitable employment of chartered & owned vessels, manage voyage charter (spot/forward cargo /COA) and time charter contract for 1 segment : Handysize.

Requirements:

  • Degree in related Discipline
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years of shipping chartering experience, handling Handysize from an owner or operator setup

  • Able to calculate and evaluate voyage estimation

  • Understand the major cargo and trades pattern of Drybulk

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to interact well with customers and industry partners
  • Possess excellent negotiation skill
