Senior HR Executive – Operations, Training

The Senior HR Executive plays a hands-on role in managing HR operations, employee onboarding, training and development initiatives, performance management, and employee engagement. This role ensures smooth HR processes, compliance, and accurate HR data while providing advisory support to supervisors and managers on employee-related matters.


Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and employee queries.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy in HRIS (Workday, Emplx) and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Advise supervisors and managers on HR policies, performance issues, attendance, and disciplinary matters within delegated authority.

2. Training & Development

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs across technical, safety, compliance, and role-specific competencies.
  • Organize annual training needs analysis and develop a comprehensive training plan.
  • Manage course enrolments, schedule internal/external training, and track completion and effectiveness.
  • Administer training grants, bond agreements, and mandatory corporate compliance training.

3. Onboarding & Induction

  • Conduct onboarding orientation for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
  • Coordinate department-specific OJT schedules and manager induction programs.

4. Internship Programs

  • Coordinate industrial attachment programs with ITEs, Polytechnics, and Universities.
  • Provide interns with structured learning experiences and track performance; explore conversion opportunities to full-time employment.

5. Performance & Talent Management

  • Support talent development initiatives and assist in the performance management process.
  • Identify high-potential employees and contribute to career development planning.
  • Monitor and follow up on performance improvement plans (PIPs) where applicable and support in managing underperformance cases.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on employee performance, coaching, and development opportunities.

6. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Organize company-wide recreational, health, and charity activities.
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.

7. HR Reporting & Compliance

  • Participate in HR policy development and ensure alignment with employment regulations.
  • Manage foreign worker documentation (OFWAS updates, housing inspections).
  • Schedule mandatory medical tests and audiometric checks; manage panel of doctors.
  • Prepare reports on training, HR metrics, and employee engagement.

8. Ad Hoc Support

  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by HR Manager/Senior HR Manager.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational, meticulous, and able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-pace environment
  • Mature, proactive, and capable of advising managers on HR decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Teams.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (Workday, Emplx) is an advantage.
  • Bilingual in English & Mandarin (to manage documentations in Chinese language & communicate with mandarin speaking employees)
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards is a MUST

  • Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Location : Changi North
  • Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
