About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team at AVA Global Pte Ltd. As a key member of our HR & Admin department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all in-house HR and administrative functions. This includes handling payroll, personnel claims, annual leave, training compliance, work pass matters, and maintaining employee records.

This full-time position offers a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both operational efficiency and strategic HR initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the computation of salaries, allowances, deductions, and statutory submissions.

Claims Administration: Manage all employee claims and liaise with relevant government authorities on matters such as levy waivers and other employment-related submissions.

HR Policy Implementation: Develop, review, and implement HR policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.

Work Pass Management: Handle the application, renewal, and cancellation of work passes (e.g., Work Permits, SPass, EP); manage repatriation processes for foreign employees as required.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular and ad hoc payroll, manpower costing reports for management.

Training Compliance: ECoordinate and ensure mandatory and regulatory training is conducted, especially for certifications and operational licenses required by law or industry standards.

Employee Records Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive employee records, including payment details, health records, and employment history. Promote effective employee communication and foster positive employee relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, including payroll and administrative functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, MOM regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in managing work passes, claims, and HR documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems/software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
