Our client is a hyper-growth leader in the instant grocery delivery space. They have dominated the domestic market with a tech-driven model that guarantees delivery of fresh produce and daily necessities in under 30 minutes. They are now launching a flagship international operation in Singapore and are building their foundational team.
Role: Strategic Partnerships Associate - Pioneer Team
Location: Singapore (Pasir Panjang)
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect, cold-call, and secure meetings with potential suppliers across Singapore to build a robust vendor network.
- Lead negotiations from initial pitch to contract signing, championing our client's value proposition to secure partnerships.
- Identify and source products that resonate with the local Singaporean and expatriate communities, ensuring a competitive and unique offering.
- Establish strong, foundational relationships with key suppliers, acting as the trusted face of our client's brand in Singapore.
- Work closely with the launch team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for suppliers ahead of the go-live date.
Ideal Profile:
- 2-4 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or sourcing within FMCG, food & beverage, e-commerce, or retail in Singapore.
- An existing network of contacts within the Singaporean food & grocery industry is a significant advantage.
- A resilient, "get-it-done" startup mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced launch environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly valued for regional sourcing and HQ liaison.
- Deep understanding of local Singaporean culture and consumer behavior.
