Job Description

Quality Management:

  • Ensure all Quality-related documentation is maintained and controlled as per the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Work closely with Operations to resolve quality issues, including managing 8D problem-solving reports, customer complaints, and audit responses.
  • Escalate serious or recurring quality issues to Management promptly.
  • Review and follow up on root cause investigations, ensuring implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Identify trends in quality incidents and audit findings to recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Support Change Request (CR) implementation and perform impact assessments.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and supplier audits in accordance with QMS and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify closure of non-conformances (NCs) with proper documentation and evaluation of CAPA effectiveness.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety standards.
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments, safety inductions, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain safety-related documents including risk assessments, safe work procedures (SWP), and incident reports.
  • Track and report safety performance metrics (e.g., near misses, lost-time incidents).

Environmental Management:

  • Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, including waste management and environmental risk assessments.
  • Assist in the implementation of ISO 14001 and other applicable environmental management systems.

Training and Competency Development:

  • Conduct staff training and knowledge-sharing sessions on GxP, QHSE policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all training records are accurately maintained and retained in accordance with QMS.
  • Promote awareness of QHSE responsibilities among staff through regular communication and campaigns.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Monitor changes in applicable legislation and industry best practices; ensure updates are reflected in company procedures.
  • Prepare and submit QHSE performance reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and auditors during inspections and audits.
