Senior Executive/Executive, Standards Development

Responsibilities

  • The role involves planning coordinating and implements standards development projects under the national standardisation programme administered by Enterprise Singapore
  • Provide secretariat support to the Manufacturing Standards Committees (MSC) and their supporting Technical Committees and Working Groups
  • Engage and coordinate with the industry and government organisations to facilitate the development, promotion and review of Singapore standards include coordinating and organising standard launches and awareness workshops
  • Responsible for conducting verification studies to assess user identification and adoption of the standards
  • Coordination of international standards development and review
  • Manage and ensure the timely delivery of all standards development projects
  • Fostering effective engagement with standards partners
  • Handle all inquiries received promptly regarding the standards under your area of responsibility
  • To undertake any ad hoc duties assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' work experience
  • Preferably with knowledge of statutory requirements
  • Results-oriented and able to execute projects in a team and independently
  • Possess excellent networking, communication, and industry engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools
  • Experience in organising virtual, hybrid, and physical events and meetings
  • Prior experience in project management
  • Secretariat experience and background in manufacturing preferred
