Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer (Mechanical) with experience in mechanical drawings and technical sales to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bridge technical knowledge with customer engagement — supporting sales activities through drawing interpretation, quotation preparation, and engineering consultation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions.
  • Prepare and review mechanical drawings, quotations, and project proposals.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and product discussions with customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry, quotation, to order confirmation and delivery follow-up.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design or technical sales.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 2D/3D design software.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel locally when required.
