Sales and Application Engineer

We are hiring on behalf of our client, an automation machinery manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales application guidance and technical assistance to prospective customers.
  • Deliver after-sales support and technical backup to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote products through telemarketing, live demonstrations, and a variety of marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or higher in Electrical/ Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic/ Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar technical sales or engineering support role.
  • Preferably a junior executive with a background in Engineering/ Technical/ IT sales.
  • Hands-on knowledge of wireless sensors, IoT, level sensors, PLCs, and/ or HMI systems; control system exposure is a plus.
  • Experience with measurement instruments is an advantage.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
  • Product training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, enabling effective engagement and relationship-building with a diverse customer base.
