**About the role**
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Workforce Planner and Operations Specialist to provide strategic and tactical workforce planning advice, develop and implement workforce management strategies to support the Telstra Purple Delivery Team, who are aligned to our Enterprise targets.
From an operational point of view, you will be Singapore-based and work with our Technology Solutions and Services team on client billing and invoicing as well as license provisioning for clients.
- Opportunity and demand - Working closely with internal teams, to develop and implement a workforce plan and initiatives designed to meet current and future needs.
- Resource management - Actively managing our available resources, understanding their capability, proactively identifying opportunities and resolving resourcing conflicts
- Resource optimisation - Highlighting capability across the industry group and wider Purple team, to optimise performance and meet engagement metrics
- Developing and analysing resource management reports - Engagement planning trends, forecasting, and utilisation
- Identify and implement improvements in resourcing processes and reporting
- Contribute to or lead workforce initiatives, operational activities and projects as required.
**You’ll bring**:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of workforce planning principles and data analysis
- Demonstrated experience analysing workforce and business data to determine workforce strategy impacts on organisational outcomes and suggest process improvements
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to balance individual and business needs
- Exceptional client service with a strong desire to build high-performing teams
- Personal leadership and having presence, vitality, and agility
- Excellent organisation skills; adaptable, flexible, with a flair for keeping it simple where possible.
**You’ll also have**:
- Experience using MS Excel and information/data analysis with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities within the business and operational market
- Customer advocacy, strong personal integrity, and the ability to work autonomously
