**Job Purpose**:
Report to and assist the Head of Operations with regard to the full spectrum of daily operations for contracted institutional catering venues, banquets, events, and maintenance of client relations.

Ensure clients needs are attended to for the best experience in service and food quality.

**Duties**:

- Required to implement and recommend operation plans to improve work processes and service quality for the organization while ensuring the smooth execution of events and projects.
- Key liaison party to our fixed contract client and to ensure smooth operations of the contracted site as well as developing positive lasting relationships with the clients.
- Actively participates in the tender of projects for new catering contract and takes ownership in representing the organization.
- Coordinate with sales person on customers orders to ensure that the sales and banquet team deliver events successfully for guests through detailed communication and planning.
- Assist to investigate complaints concerning food & service quality and ensure timely reporting of such incidents.
- To ensure all contracted venues are being visited regularly for audits and inspection so as to pick up non-compliance issues timely for corrective actions to be implemented and see-through.
- To lead and supervise as well as manage and oversee all aspects of the banquet setup in order to ensure the expectations of customers are met and exceeded, while delivering profits.
- Actively participates in servicing of all events and being a role model for all team members.
- Good understanding of P&L and its impact on business results with strong business acumen.
- Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, purchasing of new banquet equipment, part-timer cost and inventory control.
- Adheres to and reinforces all standards, policies and procedures which include but not limited to food quality and service as well as established sanitation requirements.
- Manages departmental inventories and maintenance of equipment.
- Performs other related duties such as special assignments and annual major objectives as required.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Leadership, People skills, Friendly, Organized, Communication skills
- 5 years of experience in operations specializing in events and catering management, food and beverage services, or related professional area
- Atleast 2 years in a mid-management role
