Singapore US Federal Aviation Administration Full time

**Duties**:
Works independently to primarily prepare, write, edit, research, and develop and/or process the following: Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Advisory Circulars (ACs), responses to FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Safety Recommendations (SRs), Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins (SAIBs), and/or regulatory/policy documents. These documents include rulemaking notices, amendments, regulatory evaluations, exemptions, special conditions, and related supplementary material. Oversees the timely processing of these documents by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on their progress via computer databases.

Serves as the Branch’s source for ensuring adherence to plain-language and performance-based principles in the development of ADs, ACs, SRs, SAIBs and regulatory documents. Prepares handbooks and develops workshops describing the sequence of steps involved in processing ADs, ACs, and regulatory projects. As requested, coordinates/chairs AD board meetings. Assists in the planning and execution of regulatory conferences, public meetings, and hearings. Develops, processes, and ensures that issuance and publication of assigned ADs, ACs, responses to SRs, SAIBs and regulatory documents occur within the time limit specified by the Administrative Procedures Act, other statues, or Agency/Service policy.

Maintains a regulatory control system to ensure effective and expeditious handling of all document and information pertaining to each regulatory project. Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish tasks or projects and referring only very unusual or critical phases of work to the supervisor. Resolves most problems and work issues without assistance. Identifies problems concerning processes and procedures when applicable, and develops and implements solutions when requested. Work is reviewed periodically, typically at major milestones and at completion, for policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities. Work activities typically support activities of the organization unit and may affect project/program objectives for the major subdivision and the LOB/SO. In some specialties, the work may affect internal and external customers.

- Experience writing, revising, or editing technical publications or manuals
- proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Word); And
- Experience with managing projects and meeting metrics for project completion.
