**Job Description**:
JOB SUMMARY
The Executive will be play a key role in managing research projects assigned as well as providing research administrative support to NCID’s the Infectious Disease Research & Training Office.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
Manage pre and post award activities of assigned research projects. This include working with PIs to ensure smooth conduct of research projects, facilitate review of research agreements, grants management, procurement/purchasing and process of claims/reimbursements.
Communicate with internal/external research offices, finance, grant agencies and other stakeholders on research project matters.
The Executive will also provide other general research administrative support to researchers as deemed appropriate by Director (Research Operations).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Sciences with 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferably in healthcare.
EXPERIENCE
Project management.
Research grant management or administration.
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively in a fast paced environment.
Good communication/interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently yet a team player.
Knowledge of the local biomedical landscape/healthcare system is an added advantage.
