SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Global Workplace & Real Estate Manager will be part of the Global Indirect Sourcing - Supply Chain function a key role in the transformation of specifically workplaces across Maxeon. In this capacity, you will develop and operationalise the strategy, commercials and operational delivery of corporate workplaces and real estate portfolio across the Maxeon footprint.

In this role, you will lead, develop and execute workplace strategy and execution across the global corporate real estate portfolio, manage external relationships with brokers and valuations, establish commercial terms and ensure facilities operation services are effectively procured and contracted in line with Maxeon’s business objectives.
Corporate real estate includes offices, warehouse, industrial property, retired sites and all land transactions, but excludes the operation of direct manufacturing and Research & Development facilities.

You will also develop workplace policies and guidelines on global workplace standards design and operations, and ensure Maxeon is driving the best value out of its corporate office footprint, balanced with user experience and supporting its employee engagement objectives and culture.
Reporting to the Director -Global Indirect Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving, digitalising manual activities focused on value, efficiency and effectiveness, in compliance with Maxeon’s policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Global Workplace and Real Estate Manager has a key role in the workplace and provides;
Subject matter expertise for all real estate matters
Strategic portfolio planning and portfolio optimisation
Real estate transaction management, including acquisitions, renewals, restructures and disposals
Market aligned corporate real estate best practice, innovation and implementation
A consistent approach globally to the delivery of real estate work within Maxeon
Identification of market opportunities and/or contractual opportunities across the office portfolio
Risk mitigation of conflicts of interest, ethics and compliance in the conduct of real estate activities contrary to Maxeon’s Code of Conduct
Compliance to ensure activities are executed in line with Maxeon Procurement Policies, Guidelines and Corporate Approval Policy.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING
Build and develop relationships with business leaders and other key stakeholders and develop property strategies to reduce costs while optimizing the real estate footprint and employee experience
Champion and support agile working, by working holistically with site leaders, business stakeholders, HR and IT
Build, liaise and maintain working relationships cross-functionally, such as with Legal, Treasury, Finance, Tax to aid and facilitate best outcomes of assigned projects
Lead and act as the single point of contact for individual real estate projects and coordinate internal and external resources to execute
Manage all elements of acquisition and disposal of real property, including the financial evaluation, preparation of statements of requirement, technical due diligence, providing guidance on property options, managing letters of intent, RFPs, lease agreement negotiations, purchase & sale contract terms and conditions
